Scaevola

Scaevola aemula

Scaevolaaemula, commonly known as ‘fan flower’, belongs to the Goodeniaceae family and is valued for its distinctive fan-shaped blooms and excellent heat and drought tolerance. Thriving in full sun, well-drained soil, and low to moderate fertility, Scaevola is a low-maintenance, season-long bloomer ideal for hanging baskets, mixed containers, and sun-drenched landscape beds. Its naturally trailing habit and self-cleaning flowers make it a favorite for growers and gardeners alike.
Stick promptly, reduce mist early, keep 70°F (21°C). pH 5.5–5.8, EC 0.8–1.0. Feed 50 ppm N, then 100–125 ppm N. Fungicide at sticking and week 2; pinch at transplant.
