Lamium maculatum
Lamium maculatum, commonly known as ‘Spotted Deadnettle’, is a shade-tolerant perennial from the Lamiaceae family, appreciated for its striking variegated foliage and delicate, tubular flowers. It thrives in partial to full shade, in well-drained soil and moderate fertility, making it an ideal groundcover for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and containers. Lamium offers multi-season interest through its ornamental leaves and long-lasting blooms.
Stick promptly, keep 65°–68°F (18°–20°C). pH 5.8–6.2, EC 0.8–1.0. Feed gradually, fungicide at sticking and week 2; pinch optional.
