Cleome hassleriana
Cleome hassleriana, also known as ‘spider flower’, belongs to the Cleomaceae family and is recognized for its tall, airy habit and distinctive spidery blooms that add dramatic vertical interest to landscapes. This heat- and drought-tolerant annual thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and moderate fertility. Cleome is ideal for mass plantings, cottage-style gardens, and background accents where bold color and structure are desired throughout the summer.
