Sanvitalia speciosa
Sanvitalia speciosa, commonly known as ‘creeping zinnia’, is part of the Asteraceae family and is loved for its cheerful, daisy-like yellow blooms and trailing habit. This heat- and drought-tolerant annual thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and moderate fertility, making it ideal for hanging baskets, rock gardens, and groundcover plantings that demand continuous color through summer.
Stick cuttings quickly, keep 70°F (21°C). pH 5.8–6.2, EC 0.8–1.0. Feed 50 ppm N early, then 100–125 ppm N. Fungicide at sticking and week 2; pinch optional.
