Jamesbrittenia (Sutera Cordata)
Jamesbrittenia, a member of the Scrophulariaceae family, is an emerging bedding plant known for its profusion of small, star-shaped blooms and exceptional heat tolerance. Native to South Africa, it thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and moderate fertility. This resilient annual flowers continuously from spring through fall, adding bright, jewel-toned color to baskets, mixed planters, and landscape borders with minimal maintenance.
Remove from mist promptly and keep on the dry side. pH 5.8–6.5, EC 0.8–1.0, feed 50 ppm N then 100 ppm N. Daminozide 1,500–2,000 ppm day after sticking or as needed. Fungicide at sticking and week 2.
