Calibrachoa hybrida
Calibrachoa hybrida, commonly known as ‘Million Bells’, is a high-performance annual prized for its continuous blooms and vibrant color range. This compact, trailing plant from the Solanaceae family thrives in full sun, well-drained media, and slightly acidic soil. Ideal for baskets, combos, and color bowls, Calibrachoa brings long-lasting impact to both retail displays and home gardens.
Stick cuttings promptly, remove from mist, and use K-IBA if desired for faster rooting. Maintain 70°–72°F (21°–22°C) early, cooling to 65°–68°F (18°–20°C). pH 5.2–5.8, EC 0.8–1.2, feed 50 ppm N then 100–150 ppm N. Daminozide 1,200-1,500 ppm at sticking; Uniconazole-P may be used in week 3. Provide high light/long days; fungicide at sticking and week 2.
