Agastache
Agastache, also known as ‘hummingbird mint’ or ‘giant hyssop’, is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is loved for its aromatic foliage and vibrant flower spikes that attract pollinators. This drought-tolerant perennial thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and moderate to low fertility. Agastache is ideal for landscape borders, pollinator gardens, and patio containers, offering long-lasting blooms and a strong vertical element in summer and fall plantings.
Stick quickly, maintain 70°F (21°C), pH 5.8–6.2, EC 0.8–1.0. Feed 50 ppm N, then 100 ppm N. Fungicide at sticking and week 2; pinch optional.
